Pirfenex may be used to treat adults with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a lung condition that causes inflammation and scarring in the lungs. Pirfenex shows anti-fibrosing and anti-inflammatory properties in many systems in vitro and in animal models of pulmonary fibrosis (the fibrosis induced by bleomycin and transplantation). Common use
Pirfenex is a prescription drug used to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). It helps to improve breathing by reducing scarring and edema in the lungs.
Dosage and direction
Follow your doctor's instructions for the dosage and duration of Pirfenex. It should not be chewed, crushed, or broken. Tabs Pirfenex should be consumed with food.
Precautions

Missed dose
If a dose of Pirfenex is missed, it should be taken as soon as remembered. However, if it is close to the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue as normal. Do not take a double dose to compensate for a missed one.
Overdose
Overdosing on Pirfenex may cause severe gastrointestinal disturbances like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. If signs of overdose are observed, consult with a doctor immediately.
Storage
Store Pirfenex it at a controlled room temperature between 20 C and 25 C. Avoid exposing the medication to excessive heat, humidity, or direct sunlight. Always keep this medicine out of reach of children and pets.
